Here's a recent project my students did to reinforce their learning of multi-digit multiplication and integrate technology through the use of QR codes.
My students are in a Spanish immersion program, so in groups of two, they created their own multiplication problem in English and Spanish and made a QR code to display the answer to their problem.
Steps We Took:
1) First, pairs of students worked together and made a draft of their multiplication word problem in English and Spanish.Download the above draft here.
2) Once I proofread the students' drafts for grammar or mathematical errors, students were allowed to move forward with the design of their poster.
3) To make the posters, I basically just grabbed anything I had on hand- craft materials, pipe cleaners, stickers, and magazines. Kids are so amazingly creative - they don't need much!
4) As students worked, I called them to my computer to create and print their own QR code using the website QR Stuff. They also chose the color of their QR code to match their posters.
5) Students then attached their QR code answers onto their posters in lots of clever ways.
6) I placed the posters on a wall in our school. Now, my class and other classes can come by with clipboards, paper, pencils, and iPads with a scan app and have some fun solving multiplication problems and checking their work by scanning the QR codes.
Try your hand at QR Codes with these freebies. :)

What a fantastic idea! I use QR codes to share videos, but never thought of using it for something as simple as this!

Logos are usually thought of as existing primarily in the business world but in actuality most organizations of any kind have some type of identity. In fact all major Educational institutions all have a company image. See more creating an academic poster
