So, I posted a video recently to share with you some ways I use the Remind app to keep my parents up-to-date with classroom happenings. You can watch it here.
Previously, you could not do two-way communication with parents on Remind. Now you can! Buuuut, you can keep your settings where only you can initiate conversations with parents and not vice versa. I will definitely be trying that feature out next year!
How do you use Remind in your classroom???
So I've been using this app for the first time this school year and I LOVE it! I use it exactly how you posted in the video, but a few weeks ago I took about 50 students to Sea World on our Fourth Grade Field Trip and had parents from various classes sign up to use app. I kept them updated about what we were doing through the day with lot so pictures of the kids and fun activities. I also let them know what time we left the park, and when we were half an hour away. We returned at 11pm and ALL parents were there on time!
