Spanish Attention Grabber and Other Spanish Freebies

Hey guys!

How has your week been? Well, with pneumonia, strep, and lice in my classroom and a sick husband at home, I really want to live in a protective bubble right now!

But fingers crossed, knocking on wood, I'm feeling pretty good. Good enough today that I was able to pull together some Spanish materials I created for my classroom to leave here for anyone who might could use them.

One thing you'll find in the random package is a student attention grabber. A post from Carolina Gomez at her Facebook page about fun Spanish rhymes sparked this idea. So I created some posters to go with the rhymes.

How It Works:

When I need my students' attention, I just say, “¿QuĂ© te pasa, calabaza?” The students can't help but respond with “Nada, nada, limonada.”  And so far it works great! I will catch them saying it all the time on their own.

In this freebie, I have also added some random posters I created for my classroom. They may not serve you any purpose at all, but I at least wanted to put them out there.

Click either button for the download.

Happy Hump Day!
