I'm not really sure if there are any Spanish teachers out there like me that need name tags for desks, but just in case, here are some I created for my classroom. There are eight different Spanish-speaking countries represented (randomly selected, well, except for Argentina. I'm a little biased since my husband's from there :p. And I've been to Honduras, Peru, and Mexico, so those made the list, also.)
Since I have around 20 students, I can easily split them into groups of twos and threes by called the name of the country on their name tags. I will probably also call students by the country on their name tag when lining up, so we won't have a herd of buffalo stampeding each other to get in line! I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Happy teaching!
I am so excited to have found a blog with Spanish resources!! I teach first grade dual language and my blog is firstgradewithatwist.blogspot.com. I look forward to getting some great ideas from you!
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks, Linsay! I'm going to follow your blog right now! Thanks for finding me! I don't have any similar teacher friends in cyberspace. How does your dual program work? You teach the same kids all day, right? How much Spanish/English? I teach two groups of kids math and science in 4th grade, all in Spanish, so it's hard to find resources. I have several things you might like. Here is my freebies page at TpT - http://beta.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Flapjack-Educational-Resources/?&breadcrumb=1&category=1571
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you've got, too!
Awesome! I think I actually may use these for guided reading groupings - i.e. on benchmark, strategic, or intensive kiddos grouped together in one country that I can call during guided reading. Thanks!
